Smoked Comal County Slab Bacon

4-5 lbs. Slab Bacon

Item No. 394

The recipe for our hickory-smoked bacon came from the early Germans who settled in Comal County, Texas, in the 1840s. Hearty, extra-lean slabs of bacon, slowly cured and hickory-smoked. Meaty, smoky, and unforgettably delicious. Our authentic Smokehouse bacon is available in a variety of styles - slab, sliced and peppered. This is the perfect gift for the bacon lover on your list!

Best Bacon By Far!

By DANIEL F.

Customer Rating: 5

“This is the best Bacon I have ever had, I recommend it to everyone who asks me "what is your favorite bacon?". We stop every time we pass through New Braunfels at The Smokehouse to pick some up. I also get some every Christmas from my family.”

“Do yourself a favor; buy this and eat it. Buy the whole slab so you can cut extra thick slices. My entire family raved about this last year when my mother-in-law gave me a slab for Christmas. It was so good I hugged her. Seriously, look no further. This is the noblest end to which a sow's belly ever aspired.”
