Cooking Instructions

Fully cooked - best served at room temperature. To serve warm, wrap in foil, heat in 325 degree oven for approximately 10 minutes per pound. Be careful not to overcook!

“Served this Christmas Day (for 11 people) and I had plenty of leftovers. We've enjoyed ham sandwiches (for 11 people) and tonight I am making a ham hash (for 9 people) my mother's special recipe. I plan on freezing the rest for later. I'm not sure I have a pot big enough to hold the bone, but I'm going to try!”

“I have purchased three (3) of these over the last year or so. ALWAYS GREAT. Although seasoned in part with nitrites, the smokey flavor if so good I: (1) Save all bones to boil and cook with my 15 bean soups and stews (2) Slice 1/2 to 3/4 inch slabs of the ham and GRILL them as a favorite meal (3) Dice or cube any odd pieces for added meat in my bean/soups/stews (4) Treat my frequent house-guest to the ham (1/4 to 1/2 inch sliced pieces) pan fried with eggs for breakfast and of course use the pan drippings”
